Hello Readers,

Are we having fun yet?

On November 8th we held the official launch party for A Demon Awaits and it turned into a weekend event which included a tour of Westport Rivers Winery, the setting of Sin & Vengeance the following day.

Thank you to everyone who turned out. My wife Gloria and her sister Karen did a fabulous job with the food once again. Thanks also to Dawn and Brian Fitzgerald for bringing this historic site back to life. The Fitzgerald's led tours with so much history woven in that people were captivated as they meandered through the 150 year old mansion.

If you missed the launch party, photos are available on my website and on Myspace. I will also be doing a launch party recap on Youtube in the next week or so. My 3 part  interview on Creatively Speaking is posted there along with a virtual tour for those of you who couldn't make it to Westport Rivers.

The photo gallery is filling up fast. We sifted through nearly 1,000 images from the launch party and the winery tour. If you are captured in one of the shots and would like a larger image, drop me a note and I'll email you a copy.

Westport Rivers Winery Tour

Rob Russell came through for us with an hour long discussion about the vineyards, winemaking and the award-winning wines they make in Westport.

Several people wanted to go back and reread Sin & Vengeance after learning so much more about the winemaking process and seeing the buildings where the action takes place.

For those of you who missed it, I am thinking about making this an annual event after the launch party. I have posted a virtual tour on Youtube. The video only lasts a few minutes. To really capture the beauty of the setting I suggest a trip to Westport when the weather is warm enough to enjoy being outside. Here's a shot of the group that joined us on November 9.

Christmas is almost here...

One of the best gifts you can give the thriller lover on your list is a signed book from an author they have yet to discover.
